How can Pritchard & Pritchard help you?

Bio Solar Roofs

Biosolar roof

What is a bio solar roof?  Bio-solar roofs combine the biodiversity boosting qualities of a green roof with solar energy.

A perfect solution for the pressures of urbanisation, combining the benefits of plants with clean energy for improved building performance.

Green Roofs

Living Roof in the City

Green roofs include many living-roof systems from extensive planting (low-maintenance plants, typically sedum) to intensive planting (mixed planting, including wildflower and turfed roofs). Our green-roofing experts have been installing all types of green roof since 2003.

Blue roofs

Blue Roof Kings Cross

Blue roofs are sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), which restrict the rate that water runs off a building after a downpour. They reduce flooding and environmental impacts. Our sustainable-roofing experts have been installing blue roofs since 2012.

Brown and biodiverse roofs

Brown and biodiverse roofs replace the ecosystem lost when the building was constructed. Brown roofs are left to self-colonise with local species. Biodiverse roofs are planted or seeded. Our brown-roofing experts been installing brown roofs since 2007.

Diagnosis and renovation

A properly installed, irrigated and maintained living roof should last for up to 50 years. If the plants on your roof are dying, or the weeds are taking over, you need to call P&P’s Green Roof Doctor for a free on-site diagnosis.

Maintenance

Image shows: a wild flower roof terrace, maintained by P&P in Victoria London, with a maintenance plan clipboard overlaid.

There is no such thing as a no-maintenance living roof. Like any ground-level garden, if left alone, nature will soon take over. Different roofs require different maintenance regimes. Intensive roofs require more visits than brown or sedum.
